Documenting my bit of learnings after a Masterclass during an organ festival. A photo and musical journal of participation of the Organ Festival in Gothenburg, 2023. There are total of 14 Partitas based on the same Aria. Performed on home organ, sound set to equivalent of 17th-18th German Baroque voicing and intonation. Documenting my learnings from the lessons in Gothenburg. A recording of the piece after some revision work adopting an interpretation of the tempo, phrasing and touch. The deep-thunderous hymn tune is played pedals amidst the dark and rich tone of the rolling triplets played by the hands. As the hymn reaches its last phrase, the music builds up to an earth-shaking conclusion.

An arrangement of well-known communion hymn for the organ. Dale Wood uses very beautiful harmonies - full of gentle moving textures and suspensions in this arrangement.
